Journal Entry Week 7 - Wk starting Feb 23rd

Found 4 options for the phishing site:

They are all based in the UK since the phishing site that will be created using any of these as a template will have to be in English. Did have a look a Estonian sites as well, but didn't find any that would have been suitable for the project.

At the moment it seems the biggest issue would be making the websites in the survey appear in a random order.

Journal Entry Week 6 - Wk starting Feb 16th

No further work has been carried out yet. Trying to find more sources to gather information for the literature review. Wanting the literature review to sum up the general idea behind phishing, the different techniques used, and also to look at the psychological use of warm and cold, also the use of colours. Hopefully the survey will be successful and will show some benefits to manipulating with the words and colours.

Journal Entry Week 5 - Wk starting Feb 9th

The aim of this week was to create the phishing sites, four in total. The site will be the same, but with different colours and words. It was difficult trying to find something to use as a basis; the other option would be to create something totally new, but I believe it would be more beneficial to choose a site that already exists and to modify it.

Journal Entry Week 4 - Wk starting Feb 2nd

Looking at the survey site, fixing little bits and pieces such as the first page which needs to be a disclaimer page which is needed to make sure the people carrying out the survey are aware that this will be anonymous and they are allowed to leave when they wish and asking them to accept the terms, if they don't wish to accept then they will be directed to a another page, such as Google. The purpose of this is to make sure that they are only allowed to carry out the survey after they have agreed to do so.
